Hi Nancy & Ed,

I heard about the Z-coil shoes about 3 years ago; but since I was not in need for any I kind of looked at them and thought they looked really weird. Then in January I started getting an unbelievable pain in my left heel like a knife was sitting inside and grinding away. It made walking impossible and I could no longer hike and take my 2 Golden Retrievers for long walks and work was a cruel experience being on my feet all day long as a specialized nurse. I then heard that Ed & Nancy had opend a Z-coil store locally for me in Torrance and thought what can I loose as the pain was so incredible. I bought my first pair and after a couple of readjustments I got to love the Z-coil so much that I now have 4 pairs incl. hiking shoes so I once again can enjoy the outdoors. Z-coil shoes saved my misery and I could at least tolerate walking and coping with the agony. I am now slowly getting out of the acute phase; at least I hope so; but I will still use them especially for work as they make you so comfortable that I could care less what people think. I have been a walking advertising as many people have asked me about the shoes all kinds of places incl. the supermarket and little by little I have people visit the shop and convince themselves that they really do work. Had it not been for the Z-coil shoes I would not have been able to to work for now almost 7 months.

They say seeing is believing; but in this case it is wearing the Z-coils make you painfree. Thanks for making my misery less miserable

and for being so helpful when I came to the store in so much pain & agony.

Hi,

My husband tried on Jackies shoes tonight and he really is impressed, he walks straight, he is usually pretty skeptical because he has had so much wrong with his back but he is really encouraged. She is letting him wear them to work tomorrow and we probably will be down Friday to get him a pair for the trip. he thinks he may need a half size larger. its really exciting.

I came into your store with pain in my heels and my ankles and at times, my knees. My daughter brought me to your store in Torrence. Nancy & Ed were extremely helpful and took more than an hour [which I appreciated because they answered all of my questions] telling me how to wear, adjust, and get full benefit from my Z-Coils. I walked out of the store on air. I was so impressed, I wore my Z-Coils to work, at lunch and wnenever I could. The manager at the cafe where I frequented, complained of foot pain, so I told her about Z-Coils, let her wear them for 10 minutes, and gave her the address. I bought my sister a pair and my husband bought a pair. I'll be back for the sandals next. I was visiting my mother in Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles and a doctor was wearing a pair. We had a wonderful comparison conversation. He told me that the Hospital Chief of Staff had SIX pair of Z-Coils. We need to have a reunion guys.

Did you get my e-mail about my experience with Z-coil? I got the news about the visit 8/14. I would like to know when Al will be there? I am working but would love to meet the inventor of the shoes who saved me from not being able to work and helped reduced my pain and made these comfortable shoes.

Dear Ed and Nancy,

Here are a few thoughts.

I am on a weight loss program and my exercise consists of walking or hiking daily. Unfortunately, by the end of the hike my heels would hurt so much that I could barely hobble around the house. While out of town one day, I came across a sign for Z-CoiL pain relieving shoes. I bought a pair of sandals and wore them for the rest of the day. By the time I returned to the hotel, I had walked 7 miles on concrete. Surprisingly, I was nearly pain free. As soon as I returned home I made a beeline for the internet to find the nearest Z-CoiL dealer to buy a pair of shoes to run in. Ed was so nice on the phone, I knew his store was the place to go. Ed and Nancy epitomize the Z-CoiL experience, because they know that they are selling help for people, not shoes. I love my Z-CoiLs and hope more people find the their way to the nearest Z-CoiL dealer.

When my doctor, Dr. Charles McElroy, told me he had worn his Z-Coils throughout Europe this summer and felt they were helpful to his feet and back, I headed straight for your store in Torrance, CA. Having just had a spinal fusion surgery on June 1, 2004, I was looking to find comfortable shoes which, in time, might be helpful to my back. I was surprised when my first few steps made a huge difference in the pain level in my back. The fit of the shoes themselves was not perfect until Nancy noticed my hesitation. She was able to change my gait and deal with pressure spots within the shoes until I couldn't even feel the shoes. I think she has magic and much patience. I bought 2 pair. I told my neighbor this story. She immediately went to your store and bought a pair and is pleased with them.

I wish you good luck and hope Z-Coils bring you prosperity. You offer a tremendous product and careful, attentive service--two rare commodities in these times.

I WAS HAVING NO IDENTIFIABLE PROBLEM WHEN I CAME INTO YOUR STORE BUT HAD SEEN YOU WEARING YOUR Z-COILS AT OTHER FUNCTIONS AND WAS CURIOUS ABOUT THEM. AFTER ASKING ABOUT THEM, LISTENING TO YOUR SALES COMMENTS, I DECIDED TO GIVE THEM TRY..........

I HAVE BEEN PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AT THEIR POSITIVE PROPERTIES.

LOWER BACK PAIN THAT I HAVE (RESULTS OF AN AUTO ACCIDENT) IS REDUCED TREMENDUOUSLY WHEN I AM WEARING MY Z-COILS AND THE RELIEF EXPERIENCED WHEN I FIRST PUT THEM ON WAS IMMEDIATE.

Z-Coils gave me back my life..

After suffering for years for pain in my feet and hundreds of dollars on physical therapy and then finally surgery, I still suffered from severe pain. I was introduced to Z-Coils by a friend and WOW.. I have my life back!! I recently took my teenage boys to Disney California and I wore them out!! After 8 hours of non stop they were complaining about their feet hurting and being tired....I could have gone on till closing! With my job I am up and down all day carrying heavy boxes, before Z-Coil I had considered selling my business because I wasn't sure if I could continue. Now when the shipments come I am ready to sort inventory. Thank you Al Gallegos for inventing these incredible shoes and giving me back my life!

I am so glad you are having the Grand Opening. My Z-coils are WONDRFUL. No back pain since I started wearing them. I cant stop telling folks about them. Wish I could be there to meet the inventor but will be participating in a Rebuilding Together project in Hawthorne.

Thanks for the update. Carol came and told me today and thanked me for helping her get pain relief. I will have to come into your store and get more business cards and brochures. I also need more shoe horns; every friday when I am not at Kaiser I seem to loose a shoehorn. I have sofar given away 4 of the long ones you have and I have "lost" 6 of the small shoe horns you give me when I bought something.

My heel pain is practical gone from the heel spur; only once in a while I get reminders; but I still use them 95 % of the time unless I go out and dress up. I could not even do that 9-10 months ago due to pain. The other day my back was killing me and I put my z-coil shoes on for work and suddenly hours later I realized no more pain; even without pain relieving medicine. Not bad.

I will hopefully see you friday or saturday.
