Ed and Nancy Aubry had no idea that their vacation in October, 2003 would turn into an exciting business venture just 3 months later. During the summer of 2003, the couple made plans to attend the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Due to personal obligations, the trip almost didn't happen when Nancy suggested to Ed that they should postpone the trip until next year. Ed said that if they waited until next year, the trip wouldn't happen. So, they packed their bags and arrived in Albuquerque 3 days later than originally planned. Ed and Nancy

Arriving late afternoon in Albuquerque, they settled in their room and decided to have an early dinner. During dinner they noticed their waitress was wearing these very different, but interesting looking shoes. As Nancy puts it, "We decided not to ask about the footwear because it may have been a medically related problem.". Well, the very next day while at the Balloon Fiesta, Ed and Nancy were looking for a bite to eat (again) when they came across the footwear. Nancy exclaimed, "That's the shoes that the waitress was wearing last night.". The name of the footwear was Z-CoiL® Pain Relief Footwear™.

They decided to try on a pair. Nancy experienced immediate relief from a nagging lower back ache and an occasional knee pain that had been bothering her for the last 5 or 6 months and decided to purchase a pair. Ed suffers from plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, knee pain (had arthroscopic surgery in his right knee six years ago and was planning on having surgery for his left knee) and chronic low back pain and he too decided to get a pair. Side note: After wearing Z-CoiL®'s for a few months, Ed realized that he did not need surgery for his left knee. Had he discovered Z-CoiL®'s six years ago, he could have avoided the first knee surgery!
